I love the old feel of this piece and the beautiful message that I get from it :D Great job! One thing I see is that the face seems too clean compared to the rest of it ;)

Have you tried Painter instead of PS? I've been using PhotoShop for 4 years, now, and have just recently discovered Painter (which was purchased by Corel) and it can create some really nice effects that PS can't. I currently use both of them.
